Results-oriented Bioengineering graduate turned Software Engineer

I've developed a strong passion for Software Engineering and I'm dedicated to pursuing a career in this field. As a lifelong learner, I have taken the initiative to utilize the abundance of resources on the internet to learn new skills and continuously expand my skillset. I'm actively practicing my coding skills on Leetcode.

I hold a Bachelor of Engineering in Bioengineering from Nanyang Technological University. During my academic journey, I completed a Final Year Project where I was tasked with developing an Android mobile-platform-based image reconstruction for photoacoustic tomography. As a result of my contribution, I was made a co-author for the project, which was published by SPIE and featured on SPIE news.

I'm an independent and quick learner who excels in team collaboration. I thrive in fast-paced environments and eagerly embrace new challenges. Additionally, I possess strong problem-solving skills and have a keen eye for detail. I am adept at adapting to changing circumstances and am always seeking opportunities to expand my skill set.

This first-of-its-kind and groundbreaking application enables image reconstruction on affordable, compact, and widely accessible mobile phones, eliminating the need for bulky and expensive desktop computers, laptops, or workstations. It bolsters the versatility of point-of-care applications by enhancing the adaptability of PAT systems.

My team developed a breathalyzer capable of converting a physiological signal (BrAC) to Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) for monitoring purposes. This monitoring is achieved through the mobile application, Drinké, which utilizes Firebase. Additionally, 3D printing was incorporated for some components, making the breathalyzer relatively portable.
